Job Description

Overview

You’ll lead the visual design process across projects, helping shape the look and feel of everything from high-impact social media campaigns to brand identities, digital ad suites and large-scale OOH. Your work will set the tone for both client brands and tribe.’s own presence – always aiming for bold, clean, effective visuals that cut through the noise.

You’ll handle concept development, execution and rollout. You’ll collaborate with copywriters, editors, animators and producers to make sure every visual tells the right story.

Responsibilities:

Creative Direction & Visual Development:

  • Own the visual direction for multiple brands and campaigns, from concept to execution
  • Develop brand identities, logo systems and scalable visual toolkits
  • Translate creative briefs into striking, usable design systems across all platforms
  • Build moodboards, mockups and final artwork for approval and delivery
  • Stay up to date with design and tech trends to inform and elevate

Design & Production:

  • Design across a wide range of outputs: brand elements, social posts, web graphics, paid ads, print materials, OOH
  • Prepare layered design files (Illustrator, Photoshop) ready for animation handoff
  • Ensure all assets meet delivery specs and retain visual consistency
  • Balance multiple projects with short lead times and high creative standards
  • Maintain quality control at all stages – from draft to client-read

Collaboration & Client Engagement:

  • Present visual concepts internally and externally with clarity and confidence
  • Coordinate with Producers, Editors, Designers and Social Media teams to align visuals with campaign storytelling
  • Join client meetings and support relationship-building through creative input
  • Provide feedback and mentorship to junior designers or freelancers when needed
  • Remain calm under pressure, adaptable to feedback and open to collaborative iteration

Tooling & Innovation:

  • Work confidently in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Stay informed about tools like Canva, Figma, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Gemini, and how they intersect with design workflows
  • Contribute to the team’s evolving crative process – from brainstorming through to asset delivery

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a graphic design role (agency or in-house)
  • A strong portfolio showcasing brand identity systems, social media campaigns, digital ad suites, and print/OOH design
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
  • Confident presenting work and direction to internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to take ownership of visual direction across multiple projects and brands
  • Solid understanding of design for animation (asset prep and motion collaboration)
  • Strong eye for typography, layout and colour across formats
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead visual direction with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with Canva and curiosity towards emerging tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney or Gemini
  • Calm under pressure, with a proactive and organised approach to timelines and feedback
