Job Description

Overview

You’ll design visuals that move – emotionally and sometimes literally. From social media posts to digital ads, print layouts or campaign key visuals, you’ll craft designs that grab attention and get the message across with clarity, flair and a sharp sense of brand identity.

You’ll work closely with our Content, Animation and Strategy teams to turn creative briefs into polished visual assets; sometimes independently, sometimes as part of a wider push. You’ll also contribute to larger branding and campaign projects, helping define the visual direction for tribe.’s clients and our own evolving brands.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, collaborative and confident handling feedback and fast-moving timelines. You’ll be working across a variety of touch points, so a strong design foundation and a natural eye for layout and composition are a must.

Responsibilities:

Design & Content Creation:

  • Design visual content for social media platforms, websites, email campaigns and online advertising
  • Create assets for print and OOH campaigns – from bus shelters to roll-ups and press
  • Prepare layered artwork for animation (mainly through Illustrator and Photoshop), and assist the animation team where needed
  • Work with Strategists and Content Writers to turn campaign ideas into on-brand visuals
  • Collaborate on the creation of logos, brand toolkits and visual identity systems

Creative Direction & Brand Development:

  • Help shape and push forward the visual direction of both client brands and tribe.’s own identity
  • Stay on top of design trends, emerging tools, and evolving brand aesthetics
  • Maintain visual consistency across assets, platforms and content types
  • Participate in brainstorms and creative reviews – offering ideas, feedback and solutions

Tools & Technical Skills:

  • Work confidently with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Prepare assets for print and digital delivery, including correct formatting, sizing and colour profiles
  • Understand and use Canva for quick-turn or templated designs
  • Embrace AI-enhanced tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney) as creative collaborators

Collaboration & Client Engagement:

  • Liaise directly with clients and third parties when required, attending meetings and presenting work
  • Work closely with Media Producers, Animators, Writers and Marketers to ensure alignment
  • Follow short briefs independently and take initiative when guidance is minimal
  • Support project management by flagging deadlines, requesting missing assets, and ensuring file hygiene

Requirements:

  • Strong portfolio showcasing multi-format design (social, print, digital, branding)
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a design role
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to follow short briefs and also work independently
  • Comfortable presenting ideas and taking feedback from clients and internal teams
  • Interest in animation and motion graphics is a plus
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a graphic design role (agency or in-house)
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g. content, video, marketing)
  • Proven ability to take a project from concept to delivery
